The analysis of strengths and problems is behind us. On 26 August, the Working Group of the Nabutiv rural community met to answer the most difficult question of any Strategy: what exactly needs to be done so that the outlined goals become reality by 2037.
The participants worked in small groups. Each group received the operational goals and a list of possible tasks for them, and then:
🔷 assessed which of the proposed tasks are genuinely timely for the community
🔷 filtered out what is duplicated or has no resources for implementation
🔷 added their own proposals, drawn from the experience of their village, their field and their work
The results of the small groups were summarised and checked for logic: whether each task leads to a specific operational goal, and that goal to a strategic one. This is the stage that distinguishes a working document from a declaration: without an end-to-end link, a Strategy remains a list of good intentions.
People from different villages, professions and age groups are involved in the work on the Strategy, and it is these different perspectives that form a complete vision of the community’s future.
🤝 We thank the residents for their engagement!
The event is implemented by the team of the institution “Cherkasy Regional Development Agency” with the support of the Charitable Foundation “MHP-Hromadi” within the project “STRATEGY LAB: laboratory of change in communities”.
